2015 In Pictures
January 3rd, 20162015 was a fantastic year and I couldn’t be more excited about new projects and exciting shoots this new year, 2016. Here are my photographic highlights of 2015 in pictures.
2015 In Pictures.
I had a fun start in January, 2015 with look-alike US President Barack Obama giving North Korea’s leader Kim Jong-Un a personal tour of Los Angeles. We bumped in to a Bono look-alike in Venice Beach which made the shoot even more interesting. Pictures were published by Vice.
I spent a cold few days in New York with photographer, Paul Sanders. We walked 37.25 miles, climbed 153 flights of stairs, burned 10,324 calories and took 67385 steps over three days, scouting locations for one of Paul’s Light & Land photography workshop.
In February, I visited the CBS studios in Los Angeles and photographed James Corden for the Daily Mirror.
On assignment for the New York Post, I photographed British model, actress and television presenter Kelly Brook.
In March, I shot British composer Murray Gold in his Southern California home for The Telegraph (UK). Murray is best known for his work as composer for the British TV series Doctor Who.
In April my landscape photography was featured in publications internationally. Pictured is my mug shot in Sydney’s Daily Telegraph.
Once again at the CBS studios for The Times, I photographed the executive producer of The Late Late Show, Ben Winston.
Also in April, I met up with Sean Stewart, son of rocker Rod Stewart, at a Hollywood hotel for a Daily Mirror photo-shoot.
A brilliant story idea from the New York Post in May had me buzzing over Los Angeles in a helicopter to photograph the effects of the drought in Southern California.
The “grass is greener in Hollywood”.
I managed to catch a charming smile from actor Vince Vaughn during a very brief photo-shoot in June.
I always have fun when I’m on an assignment for Australians in Film. Pictured is Matt Levett (Right), named winner of the 2015 Heath Ledger Scholarship, with previous winners Cody Fern (left) and Oliver Ackland (center).
This interview still cracks me up. Cheers, North Devon Journal.
In September the Daily Mail Online sent me on a brief mission to Mars (truthfully, Hawaii). I photographed six crew members living in isolation for 12 months on the slopes of the Mauna Loa Volcano on the big island of Hawaii for the HI-SEAS (Hawaii Space Exploration Analog and Simulation) Project.
Testing lights with my new Sony A7RII camera, I photographed one of oldest friends, Rupert Thorpe.
One of my final assignments of the year was a portrait shoot with the legendary Charlie Sheen in December. #Winning
